James Lee, P.E. , VP Installation
Mr. James Lee brings more than twenty-one years of experience in the offshore industry, exclusively in offshore platform installations including extensive experience with project management, engineering execution, field supervision, and technology pioneering. His engineering and naval architecture background spans across the range of fixed and floating structures. Mr. Lee was the project manager, engineering manager and the lead naval architect for twelve of ODL’s most successful projects.
Representative projects include:
- Deputy Project Manager for an EPCI Project. CPOC MDPP Deck Transportation/Floatover Installation. 18,000MT load out weight – the heaviest single piece topsides to be installed using a floatover installation method in Asia.
- Project Manager for Design Engineering, Fabrication Support and Offshore Installation Support. CNOOC PY30-1 Deepwater Jacket 200 m W.D. and 16,200 MT loadout weight – the largest fixed jacket in Asia.
- Lead Naval Architect for Baldpate, Petronius, Benguela-Belize and Tombua Landana compliant towers.
