Project Description:
The typical Deepwater Spar Platform Concept Design is one of the most important part of the “Deepwater Floating Platform Design” program, aiming to service the Liwan 3-1 gas field.
ODL Scope of Work:
Ocean Dynamics LLC (ODL) was contracted by CNOOC RC to jointly perform the conceptual design of the typical spar platform in the Liwan field. ODL’s work scope included topside equipment layout, weight and weight control, global sizing of the Spar, global performance analysis, mooring system design and analysis and spar stability analysis.
