Project Description:
ODL had performed several Launch evaluation designs and analyses for the contractor COOEC. The projects were LeDong15-1;LeDong22-1; WenChang15-1A; WenChang19-1A; Xijiang 23-1 and Huizhou25-3. CNOOC is the owner of those platform. The water depth ranges from 90m to 153m.
ODL Scope of Work:
ODL was sub-contracted from COOEC to perform Jacket Launch analysis to evaluate the structure integrity under launch design loads.
Key Details:
Confirm the barge strength during launch process includes rocker arm reactions; barge stern submergence; loads on skidways and barge structure.
Investigate the bottom clearance during launch process both for Jacket and launch barge.
Confirm the stability during the launch process.
Perform structural code checks.
