ODL was contracted from CNOOC to perform the study of using “pontoon barge” float over installation method for Bohai bay Platform installation.

ODL performed the pontoon barge, loadout, transport and float over installation study for Bohai bay platform installation.
Key Details:
Performed the catamaran transport design and analysis for topsides weights from 8000MT to 18000Mt.
Developed pontoon barge float over installation procedures.
Performed pontoon barge float over installation engineering analysis ( includes stand-off; entry; mating; exit.).
