Project Description:
Shell contracted MMC-AMEC for the engineering and design service on the Malikai oil project which is located in Malaysia in the northern portion of Block G at a water depth of 565 meters.
ODL Scope of Work:
MMC-AMEC subcontracted Ocean Dynamics LLC to perform the Malikai TLP Hull structure design and analysis including TLP load-out, transportation and installation, design of mooring system and riser system, and the tendon and tendon foundation design and analysis.
Key Details:
TLP Hull design and analysis;
TLP mooring system design and analysis to adjust the position of TLP during drilling;
Tendon design;
Riser system design;
Produce TLP load out procedures at the yard;
Perform transportation analysis;
Offshore installation analysis;
Produce offshore installation procedures including offshore hook-up and TAD mooring.
Develop various specifications.
