CPOC Float-Over

Project Description:
Dockwise was awarded the T&I scope for the MDPP offshore production platform at the Malaysia-Thailand Joint Development Area Blocks B17 and C-19. The Muda-A field lies 268km east of Songkhla, Thailand and 171km North of Kota Bharu, Malaysia.

ODL Scope of Work:
ODL performed the detailed float-over engineering analysis of the 19,000 tonne MDPP deck.

Key Details:
Developed float-over installation sequence;
Designed standoff, entry, mating, and exit phases of the float-over Installation;

Detailed outfitting design and
mooring system design including the anchor mooring line and mating line;

Arrangement and analysis of the sway fenders;

Supported project installation site supervision.

The load transfer took only 6 hours to complete and was nominated for the ISO 14001 and OHSA 18001 certification by Lloyd’s Register Quality Assurance.
